Case Western Reserve University's $1.9 billion endowment pool returned a net 1.3% for the fiscal year ended June 30, according to a financial report posted on the Cleveland-based university's website.
The endowment had returned a net 6% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019.
The report did not provide annualized returns for longer periods, benchmark information or asset class returns for the most recent fiscal year.
As of June 30, the actual asset allocation was: 34.2% private equity, 31.2% absolute return, 20.6% public equities, 9.2% fixed income, 2.8% other alternative investments 1.6% venture capital and 0.4% real estate.
William Lubinger, university spokesman, could not immediately provide further information.
