Berea College's $1.6 billion endowment returned a net 29.8% for the fiscal year ended June 30, according to a financial report posted on the college's website.
The Berea, Ky.-based college's report did not disclose information on longer-term annualized returns, benchmarks or individual asset class returns.
The endowment returned a net 3% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020.
According to the financial report for the latest fiscal year, the actual allocation as of June 30 was 34.2% domestic equities, 27.4% international equities, 14.6% corporate fixed income, 12% private equity funds of funds, 7.3% U.S. government fixed income, 2.4% special opportunities, 1.8% short-term investments and cash, 0.2% real estate and 0.1% buyout funds.
College spokeswoman Kim Brown could not immediately provide further information.
