Seneca County, Waterloo, N.Y., is transferring the participants in its $11 million 457 plan to the $33.8 billion New York State Deferred Compensation Plan, Albany.
The transfer will be complete sometime in April, said Laura Granger, county personnel officer, in an email.
The county issued an RFP in July for a record keeper due to the pending expiration of incumbent record keeper Empower Retirement's contract on Dec. 31.
Ms. Granger said the county decided following the completion of the RFP process to move participants to the state 457 plan. Empower did rebid for the services, she said.
