Deb Boyden was named head of U.S. defined contribution at Schroders.
Ms. Boyden, who started the new position on July 22, will report to Joel Schiffman, head of U.S. defined contribution and insurance sales, according to Jennifer Manser, Schroders' head of marketing and communications in North America.
Ms. Boyden will be responsible for leading strategy, development and execution of defined contribution products, as well as overseeing the firm's West Coast presence. She joins Schroders from Lazard Asset Management, where she was senior vice president of defined contribution, national accounts.
A Lazard spokeswoman declined to comment.
