P&I announces 2024 Eddy Award winners

More than 40 education and communication plans were honored March 12 at Pensions & Investments' 2024 Eddy Awards held in Orlando, Fla., as part of P&I's annual Defined Contribution East Conference.

This year's competition featured awards in five categories: special projects, financial wellness, ongoing investment education, conversions/403(b) consolidations and pre-retirement preparation.First place winners (and their service providers) in each category are listed below, with the full list of the 44 winning campaigns available online.

Westinghouse Electric Co. (Voya Financial) placed first in the corporate category with more than 5,000 participants.

Among public plans with more than 5,000 participants, Chicago Public Schools (Corebridge Financial) tied for first place with Colorado State University System (Innovest Portfolio Solutions.)

Polaris (Compass Financial Partners and Fidelity) placed first in the category for corporate plans with more than 5,000 participants.

Brakebush Brothers (Francis) tied for first place among corporate plans with between 1,000 to 5,000 participants with Alliant Energy (Empower).

Conning & Co. (Empower) took first place in corporate plans with less than 1,000 participants.

The University of Colorado (TIAA-CREF) took first place in public plans with more than 5,000 participants.

In the generic category, T. Rowe Price took first place in financial wellness.

Applied Industrial Technologies (Principal Financial Group) received first place, corporate plans, more than 1,000.

Grazzini Brothers (Francis) was awarded a first place in corporate plans, less than 1,000 participants.

Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Empower) received first place in public plans, more than 5,000 participants.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management took top honors among service providers in Ongoing Investment Education.

Among corporate plans with more than 5,000 participants, there was a tie for first place: Southeastern Freight Lines (T. Rowe Price) and ADP TotalSource (Voya Financial).

Among public plans, more than 5,000 participants, Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Empower) took first place.

Special projects dominated this year's Eddy awards.

SLB (Segal Benz) won first place for corporate plans of more than 5,000 participants.

Among corporate plans with 1,000 to 5,000 participants, there was a tie for first place, with EBSCO Industries (Principal Financial Group) winning top honors for two separate campaigns.

Northwell Health (Transamerica) took first in the not-for-profit/other category for plans of 5,000 or more participants.

Northern Arizona Healthcare (Transamerica) took first in the not-for-profit/other category for plans between 1,000 to 5,000 participants.

Among public plans, the County of Los Angeles (Empower) received top honors among plans with more than 5,000 participants.

San Joaquin County (Nationwide Retirement Solutions) took first for plans between 1,000 to 5,000 participants.

In special projects, generic, Lincoln Financial Group received first place among service providers.
