Michael Majors, a veteran sales executive at Paychex, was named senior director of national retirement sales, spokeswoman Emily DePerrior said in an email.
Mr. Majors is responsible for developing and executing sales strategy for new 401(k) sales, the licensed 401(k) organization, and the wholesale team that supports broker-dealers and financial advisers. He succeeds Daniel Seyler, who is now a senior leader of professional employer organization sales for Paychex. Mr. Major leads a sales team of more than 350 representatives and reports to Mark Bottini, senior vice president of sales.
Mr. Majors joined Paychex in 2005 and has since held a variety of sales leadership roles.
