Camilla Egginton was named chief strategy and transformation officer at National Employment Savings Trust, London, effective Jan. 1.
The position is new and an addition to the executive team of the defined contribution master trust, which had £45.3 billion ($60.6 billion) in assets as of Sept. 30, and “signifies its commitment to being a purpose-led organization,” a news release said.
She will report to CEO Ian Cornelius, a spokesperson said.
Egginton’s role also reflects the importance NEST places on keeping its corporate strategy relevant and ensuring success in a competitive market, it added.
“Camilla’s appointment as chief strategy and transformation officer reflects both the invaluable continuation she has made to NEST in her position as transformation director, as well as her deep knowledge of how NEST operates from the senior strategic and delivery roles she has held in over a decade’s service,” Cornelius said in the release.
She won't be replaced as transformation director as those responsibilities stay with Egginton, the spokesperson confirmed.
Egginton joined NEST in 2012.
