April Clark has been named as chief people officer of the National Employment Savings Trust, London, according to a news release.
This position is new and an addition to NEST’s executive team. Clark’s role will involve looking to drive forward NEST’s people agenda, ensuring that the plan can deliver on its purpose and thrive in an increasingly competitive and complex market.

Her leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that we have the right talent and culture to meet the challenges ahead.”
Clark was previously chief people officer at Saga, a retirement services and insurance firm, and worked at financial services firm Aon from 2016 to 2021. Saga could not immediately provide details regarding her replacement.
As of Dec. 31, NEST had about £36 billion ($45.8 billion) in assets. NEST is the largest defined contribution workplace plan in the U.K.
