Andrew Whiting was named senior vice president and chief sales officer at MissionSquare Retirement, the administrator of public-sector retirement plans announced in a news release Nov. 7.
Whiting replaces Orlando Cruz, who left the organization following a restructuring in April.
Whiting will be responsible for a broad range of retirement savings, financial planning, investment-only and advisory programs. He will also have responsibility for all revenue and client-interaction sales teams across the organization.
Whiting joined MissionSquare in 2020 as the head of institutional sales. Prior to that, he held key roles at large financial institutions, including .J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he served as the public markets client adviser.
