The Internal Revenue Service has left unchanged at $19,500 the amount employees can contribute to 401(k) plans for 2021.
The contribution level for 403(b), most 457 plans and the federal government Thrift Savings Plan also remains unchanged at $19,500.
The catch-up contribution limit for employees aged 50 and over who participate in these plans remains unchanged at $6,500, the IRS said in a notice published Monday.
