Teresa Hassara has joined Ascensus as president of its FuturePlan business, a spokeswoman for the record-keeping firm confirmed Monday in an email.
She replaced David Musto, president and CEO of Ascensus, who served as interim FuturePlan president after Jerry Bramlett left the position in August to pursue other interests.
Effective Monday, Ms. Hassara will oversee the third-party administration business, which had $104 billion in assets under administration as of Dec. 31. She is a member of Ascensus' operating committee and reports directly to Mr. Musto.
Ms. Hassara was head of workplace solutions for MassMutual.
