Scott Ramey has joined AIG Retirement Services as executive vice president of market strategy and new business development.
He replaces Glenn Harris, who retired last year, a spokesman said Tuesday.
Mr. Ramey will be responsible for leading the teams focused on market strategy, consultant relations and business development. He reports to Gilliane Isabelle, chief distribution officer. He started last month, the spokesman said.
Mr. Ramey was senior vice president and head of retirement solutions distribution at Nationwide Financial. A spokesman for Nationwide said Craig Hawley, a senior vice president who led Nationwide's annuity distribution team, replaced Mr. Ramey as head of retirement solutions distribution.
