Sophia Singleton was named head of defined contribution at consultant XPS Pensions Group, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The role is new. Ms. Singleton is developing the firm’s DC services across benefit design, investments and participant engagement.
“We are delighted that we have been able to attract someone as experienced as Sophia to XPS to lead our growth in the DC market,” said Patrick McCoy, head of advisory, in a statement.
Ms. Singleton was previously a partner and head of DC consulting at Aon. Ben Roe was named senior partner and head of DC consulting, an Aon spokesman said. Mr. Roe previously led the member options team at the firm and was replaced by Kelly Hurren, the spokesman confirmed.
XPS has £15 billion ($18.5 billion) in defined contribution assets under advisory and administration.
