Craig Baker has been named chief investment strategist in the investment business of global consulting firm Willis Towers Watson.
It is a new position, a WTW spokesperson confirmed.
Baker will be “responsible for strategic relationships, developing key investment opportunities around the world,” said a March 19 news release.
Baker had been global chief investment officer at WTW, a position that will now be filled by Jon Pliner.
Currently Deputy CIO, Pliner has also been head of delegated portfolio management in the U.S. market since 2017. Pliner's successors in his prior roles have not been chosen yet, the spokesperson said.
Baker and Pliner are based in London and New York, respectively, and will start their new roles April 1.
