Nimisha Srivastava was named head of investments for North America at Willis Towers Watson.
Ms. Srivastava will be responsible in this role for "driving the growth strategy of the company's investments business in the region," Willis Towers Watson said in a news release on Thursday.
She will report to Chris Ford, the London-based global head of investments, the release added.
Ed Emerman, a spokesman for WTW, said by email Ms. Srivastava is based in Charlotte, N.C., and that she succeeds Kemp Ross, "who has served in this role on an interim basis over the past few months."
Mr. Emerman added that "Kemp is still with the company and has a permanent role working on strategic projects across the investments business." Mr. Ross is managing director-investments.
Having first joined Willis Towers Watson in 2014, Ms. Srivastava most recently served as its global head of credit research.
Mr. Emerman added that as for Ms. Srivastava's previous role, "those responsibilities will be handled by other team members until a replacement is named."
