John R. Teramana was named a senior consultant at Verus Advisory, spokeswoman Heather Robison confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Teramana will provide investment advice with a focus on Taft-Hartley plans. He will be based in Las Vegas and report to CEO Jeffrey MacLean.
Mr. Teramana was vice president of business development at Sage Advisory Services. Sage spokeswoman Jessica McHugh could not be immediately reached for additional information.
Verus had more than $425 billion in assets under advisement as of Oct. 1.
