Zoe Taylor was named interim CEO of U.K. consultant Redington and will replace Mitesh Sheth at the end of the year, a spokeswoman confirmed Monday.
Mr. Sheth, who has served as CEO since 2016, will be stepping down to pursue other opportunities.
Ms. Taylor, who has been the firm's deputy CEO since January, will be supported by the rest of the leadership team and chairwoman Kathryn Purves until a new CEO is appointed.
A search for a new CEO is underway, the firm said in a news release.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Mitesh for his hard work, personal commitment and dedication to Redington over the past eight years," Ms. Purves said in the news release.
Redington has £600 billion ($800 billion) in assets under advisement.
