Jennifer Kruse was named U.S. outsourced chief investment officer leader at Mercer, effective immediately.
Based in New York, she reports to Marc Cordover, U.S. investments and retirement leader.
Ms. Kruse will "oversee Mercer's OCIO business and team in the U.S. and will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, driving business development, and managing and expanding client relationships," said a news release Wednesday.
A spokeswoman for Mercer confirmed in an email that Ms. Kruse is not taking over a new role, but she declined to comment about whom Ms. Kruse succeeded.
Ms. Kruse most recently was head of clients for U.S. investment solutions at Mercer. Regarding Ms. Kruse's former position, the spokeswoman said "a search for Jen's replacement is underway, but she will retain her responsibilities in the interim."
Ms. Kruse first joined the firm in 2021, the news release said.
Mercer, which advises clients on $16.2 trillion in assets and manages more $354 billion in global assets, is a business of Marsh & McLennan Cos.
