Raelan Lambert was named global alternatives leader for Mercer's global wealth business.
Ms. Lambert replaces Donn Cox, who will remain with Mercer as a senior adviser until March when he will leave the firm to spend more time with his family and pursue entrepreneurial interests, spokesman James Allan confirmed.
Based in Sacramento, Ms. Lambert reports to Rich Nuzum, president of Mercer's global wealth business.
She was previously global head of private debt at Mercer. Mr. Allan said a search for a replacement is ongoing, and Ms. Lambert will continue in those responsibilities in the interim.
