Tim Howarth, head of financial services consulting at KPMG, has left the firm over conduct issues, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Lisa Fernihough has been appointed as his replacement, the spokeswoman confirmed.
Mr. Howarth was asked by the firm to leave, a process he has appealed, according to a KPMG statement.
"We hold all of our people to a very high standard and take swift and appropriate action against any individual whose behavior contravenes the firm's values," the statement said. "As part of this commitment, we can confirm conduct issues have been raised related to a partner, and following an internal investigation and disciplinary panel, that partner has left the firm."
Mr. Howarth could not be reached for comment.
