Daniel Roy joined Indefi in Paris as a senior adviser to clients pursuing inorganic growth strategies through M&A and strategic partnerships, according to a news release from the global asset management strategy consulting firm.
The full-time position is a new one at Indefi, a spokeswoman said.
Richard Bruyere, managing partner and co-founder of Indefi, said in the news release that Roy's experience — including previous stints as CEO of La Banque Postale Asset Management, HSBC Private Bank France and Natexis Asset Management — will help Indefi asset management clients grappling with challenges related to mergers and acquisitions.
Roy was most recently head of development at Generali Asset & Wealth Management in Milan, the news release said. A Generali spokesman declined comment.
