Philip Pearson was named head of LGPS investment at U.K. consultant Hymans Robertson, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Pearson replaced David Walker, who was named CIO in July 2020. Mr. Walker replaced Andrew Green.
Mr. Pearson was a senior investment consultant at the firm, responsible for developing client consulting and with a strategic focus on the local government pension funds. The spokeswoman said the firm has a number of other senior investment consultants and did not comment on any replacement.
"Philip brings a great deal of investment and client consulting experience to this role, at a time when our LGPS investment business is continuing to broaden the reach that we have achieved over many years. The expertise he brings will enable us to extend and evolve our investment offering as we continue to support our LGPS clients over the forthcoming months," Mr. Walker said in a news release Wednesday.
