Global insurance brokerage firm Hub International has acquired StoneStreet Pearl River, a retirement plan consultant based in Pearl River, N.Y.
Terms of the deal, Hub's second in as many days, were not disclosed.
StoneStreet serves over 102 plan sponsor clients with $4.6 billion in assets. In addition, it has 49 individual wealth clients with $22 million in assets, Hub said Tuesday in a news release.
The acquisition comes on the heels of the firm's purchase Monday of Virginia-based Washington Financial Group, which added $2.3 billion in assets to Hub's business. The two acquisitions follow Hub's purchase of Peak Financial Group in March and Sheridan Road Financial in January.
StoneStreet's founder and principal Barbara Delaney will join Hub's Northeast division as part of the Hub's latest deal.
"(Barbara) and her team will help us to continue our momentum in developing our retirement practice," David Reich, national president of Hub Retirement and Private Wealth, said in the news release.
