Karyn Williams, former managing director and head of client solutions at alternative investment manager Two Sigma Advisers, launched institutional investment consulting firm Hightree Advisors, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Williams is founder and managing principal of the new Los Angeles-based firm. She left Two Sigma Advisors at the beginning of 2018. She joined that firm in July 2016 from Farmers Insurance Group, where she was chief investment officer of general account, pension, deferred compensation and operating funds.
Additionally, Mike Dudkowski joined Hightree Advisors as a managing principal and manages the firm's Pittsburgh office. Mr. Dudkowski was formerly director of investments at Willis Towers Watson, spokesman Ed Emerman said.
