James Horvath was named director of business development at investment consultant Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management, spokeswoman Katie Kaplan said in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Horvath, who began July 15, focuses on new opportunities in the institutional consulting market.
He was previously vice president and senior business development officer at PNC Bank.
Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management has about $5 billion in assets under advisement.
