Frances Beyers was named managing director and head of capital markets at Cliffwater.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Ms. Beyers, who will join the investment consulting firm on Nov. 1, will lead market research efforts for Cliffwater's multimanager private debt money management business.
She was previously head of middle-market loan analysis at financial data and technology firm Refinitiv.
As of June 30, 2019, Cliffwater had $73.3 billion in worldwide assets under advisement, according to Pensions & Investments data.
