Simon Kew was named head of market engagement at U.K. actuarial and financial services consultant Broadstone, a spokesman confirmed.
The position is new. Mr. Kew focuses on raising Broadstone's profile and increasing the firm's market engagement with clients. He will also take on a mentoring role within the business leveraging his prominence as a leading commentator on pension regulation, said a news release Monday.
"Simon has a prominence across the sector that will be invaluable as we grow our market profile," said Nigel Jones, head of consulting and actuarial at Broadstone, in the news release.
Mr. Kew has been member of the development committee at the U.K. Pensions Management Institute since 2021. He previously worked as director at business management consultant Teneo until 2023 as well as director and head of national strategy, financial advisory for pensions at Deloitte until 2021.
Broadstone has £21 billion ($26.1 billion) in assets under advisement.
