Tim Banks joined Aon as a partner, leading sales for investment across defined benefit funds as well as insurance, endowments and foundations, for the U.K., a spokesperson confirmed.
The role is not a direct replacement.
Banks reports to Maria Johannessen, senior partner and U.K. head of investment. The investments unit covers investment consulting, asset allocation, delegated investment, risk management and risk settlement investment, investment manager research and responsible investment services.
Banks was sales director, U.K. institutional core clients at AXA Investment Managers. Spokespeople did not immediately respond to a request for information on any replacement.
