Jennifer Newell will assume the role of CEO of investment consulting firm Alan Biller and Associates effective Jan. 1.
Ms. Newell, a principal and the firm's president, will replace founder Alan D. Biller as CEO. Mr. Biller will remain principal and chairman, confirmed Simon Lim, principal, managing senior consultant and chief compliance officer, in an email.
Ms. Newell joined Alan Biller and Associates in 2009 and in 2018 was named president, a role she will retain, Mr. Lim said.
Mr. Biller took over as CEO again after John D. Skjervem left in October to become CIO of the $43 billion Utah State Retirement Systems, Salt Lake City, on Nov. 8. Mr. Skjervem joined Alan Biller and Associates in April 2020.
"Jennifer's steadfast commitment to building quality relationships, fostering collaboration internally and externally and always putting clients first makes her an ideal leader to guide the vision and strategy of the organization," Mr. Biller said in a news release.
