Chief Investment Officer
The Cook County Pension Fund (the Fund) is seeking an experienced investment professional that is interested in a rewarding and impactful opportunity to provide leadership to two public retirement systems that provide pension, disability, and other benefits to eligible employees of Cook County, IL and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, IL. These two funds have their own distinct portfolios of investment assets which include public equities, fixed income, real estate, hedge funds and private equity. Portfolios of the two funds exceed $14.0 billion as of December 31, 2021
The Chief Investment Officer reports directly to the Executive Director, is a member of the leadership team of the Fund, and works closely with a 9-member Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees. The Chief Investment Officer provides subject matter expertise and recommendations on all investment matters and performs oversight of the investment portfolios of the Fund.
