Assistant Executive Director, Operations
The Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS/PEERS is seeking an Assistant Executive Director, Operations to coordinate operations with the Executive Director and Board of Trustees. This position directs the daily operations of the $45.6 billion pension plan, the largest public retirement plan in Missouri, and the 45th largest defined benefit plan in the United States. The Assistant Executive Director, Operations directs the administration of staff and facilities including information technology, security, benefits administration and is also responsible for strategic planning and the administration of operating and capital budgets.
PSRS/PEERS provide service retirement, disability, and survivor benefits for more than 129,000 active members and approximately 98,000 retired Missouri public school teachers, school employees, and their families. PSRS/PEERS is centrally located in Missouri’s capital city, Jefferson City.
A master’s degree in business or related field is preferred plus ten years’ experience in management and pension plans. Salary is commensurate with experience and education. PSRS/PEERS offers an excellent benefits package.
