Ilias Georgopoulos joined asset servicing firm IQ-EQ Group as global head of private and institutional asset owners.
"Ilias is replacing the former global head of private and institutional asset owners, but we are not able to disclose the name at this time," IQ-EQ said in an email.
Mr. Georgopoulos will "drive the development and implementation of global and regional strategies to support" the firm's business objectives and growth ambitions, said a news release Thursday. He is based in Luxembourg and reports to Emma Crabtree, IQ-EQ's chief commercial officer.
Mr. Georgopoulos most recently was CEO of Credit Suisse's MultiConcept Fund Management, where he was responsible "for driving growth initiatives, supporting on cross-product, cross segments development and enabling service evolution," the news release added. Credit Suisse could not be immediately reached for further details.
IQ-EQ has more than $750 billion in assets under administration.
