Dennis Bon was named head of Americas at BNP Paribas Securities Services, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Effective Sept. 1, he replaces Claudine Gallagher, who has been appointed chief conduct and controls officer for CIB Americas and BNP Paribas USA.
Mr. Bon will drive the firm's growth in North America and Latin America and develop its services in the region. He will be based in New York and report to Alessandro Gioffreda, global head of territory management, and Jose Placido, CEO of CIB Americas.
Mr. Bon was head of depository and fiduciary services at BNP Paribas Securities Services. A replacement has not yet been named.
BNP Paribas Securities Services is a global custodian with $10.6 trillion in assets under custody as of March 31.
