Krishna Prasad was appointed head of U.S. at global financial services firm Apex Group, according to a news release Thursday.
The position is new. He assumed the post on March 7.
Based in New York, Mr. Prasad reports to Georges Archibald, managing director-Americas.
Mr. Prasad is responsible for supporting Apex Group's "continued business and client development efforts in the U.S."
Antonia Powell, a spokeswoman for Apex Group, said by email that "most recently, Krishna was the founder of an alternative investments and fintech advisory firm, Kavery Associates, and acted as strategic advisor to investment firm Belay Associates."
Apex Group serviced $2.3 trillion of assets under administration as of Feb. 28, Ms. Powell said.
