University of Colorado, Denver, is searching for a treasurer and chief investment officer for the school's treasurer's office, a spokeswoman confirmed.
The new treasurer/CIO will replace Dan Wilson, who announced plans to retire.
Although the position does not oversee the endowment, which is managed through the CU Foundation, the candidate selected for this job would be responsible for overseeing seven smaller endowments totaling more than $40 million.
The application is on the University of Colorado website. The university is offering salary range between $180,000 and $270,000 for this position. A selection is expected to be made in December.
