First Merchants Corp., Muncie, Ind., added the Vanguard Selected Value fund to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2018, according to its 11-K filing with the SEC on Thursday.
In the plan, the active domestic midcap value equity fund managed by Vanguard Group had $4 million in assets as of Dec. 31, according to the filing.
Also during 2018, the plan removed the Goldman Sachs Mid Cap Value Fund, an active domestic midcap value equity fund managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
The reason for the changes was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the First Merchants Corp. Retirement Income and Savings Plan had $141 million in assets. The plan had 28 investment options, a common stock fund and a target-date fund lineup managed by Vanguard.
Company spokeswoman Nicole M. Weaver could not immediately provide further information.
