Bo Huang was named head of research at iM Global Partner, spokesman Howard Monaghan confirmed in an email. The position is new.
Ms. Huang will enhance the firm's research capabilities by identifying potential subsidiary managers and conducting due diligences on them. She will also focus on implementing the company's research process and promoting the firm's investment strategies.
She will be based in London and report to Jean Maunoury, deputy CEO and chief investment officer.
Ms. Huang was a portfolio manager for a $5 billion multiasset fund of funds at Tilney Group. Ben Seager-Scott, head of multiasset funds, is now the lead manager on these funds, confirmed spokesman Jason Hollands in an email.
IM Global Partner had $10 billion in assets under management as of April 31.
