New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, renewed the contract of Wellington Management, which runs $166 million in active emerging markets equities, pension fund spokesman Marty Karlon said in an email.
The $8.8 billion pension fund first hired Wellington in June 2011. The two-year renewal extends Wellington's contract to June 30, 2021. No RFP was issued.
As of March 31, NHRS' actual allocation to international equities was 18.6%.
