Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin, committed $90 million to TA XIII-A, a transaction report showed.
The $29.1 billion pension fund reported closing on TA Associates' middle-market buyout fund on May 2.
TCDRS has committed a total of $681 million year-to-date May 24 to 11 private equity funds managed by 10 managers. In all of 2018, the pension fund committed a total of $1.1 billion to 19 funds, transaction reports showed.
The pension fund previously committed $63 million to TA XII-A in 2015.
