A new monthly webinar series will provide an opportunity to participate in "robust conversations and debate about various ways to enhance the risk-adjusted returns of a diversified hedge fund portfolio," said webinar sponsor Agecroft Partners LLC, Richmond, Va., a third-party hedge fund marketer, in a news release.
The webinars are live and interactive so participants can submit questions to panelists who may include hedge fund managers, specialist consultants and allocators from pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices and hedge funds-of-funds managers.
Donald A. Steinbrugge, Agecroft's founder and CEO, said his team was unsure about how many people would join the first two ad hoc webinars. The two events attracted more than 1,000 participants from 24 countries between them, including investment officers from "many of the largest pension funds, endowments and foundations," Mr. Steinbrugge said in the news release.
Mr. Steinbrugge and Doug Rothschild, the firm's president, co-host the webinars.
The next webinar, "How to Improve the Fund Raising Capability of a Hedge Fund & a Global Perspective on Fund Flows" will air June 12 at 10:30 a.m. EDT on the firm's website. Online registration is required.
