McCormick & Co. Inc., Hunt Valley, Md., added the DFA U.S. Large Cap Value fund to its 401(k) plan fund lineup in the year ended Nov. 30, the company disclosed in an 11-K filing with the SEC on Wednesday.
The active domestic large-cap value equity fund managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors had $20 million in plan assets as of Nov. 30, according to the filing. Removed from the fund lineup during the same period was the Vanguard Windsor II Fund Admiral Shares, a similar fund managed by Vanguard Group, which had $21 million in plan assets as of Nov. 30, 2017, according to the company's prior 11-K filing.
The reason for the changes was not provided. As of Nov. 30, the McCormick 401(k) Retirement Plan had 13 investment options, a company stock fund and a target-date fund lineup managed by Vanguard Group. Four other Vanguard funds remain in the plan, all index funds which hold a total of $164 million in plan assets.
As of Dec. 31, the 401(k) plan's total assets were $744 million.
