Peter Bruun was named head of environmental, social and governance at ATP's real estate arm, Hilleroed, Denmark, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new. Effective June 1, Mr. Bruun will be part of the management leadership team at ATP real estate.
"The idea is to bring our ESG focus to a new strategic level," the spokeswoman said.
ATP has 837.5 billion Danish kroner ($125 billion) in assets. ATP's real estate business has 47.8 billion kroner in assets.
Mr. Bruun was head of communications and corporate social responsibility at Danish state investment fund Vækstfonden, Hellerup. A spokeswoman could not be reached to comment about a replacement.
