Ircantec, Paris, selected four managers to run €2.4 billion ($2.7 billion) in active European equities, according to a notice on European procurement website, Tenders Electronic Daily.
The managers are Mirova, CPR Asset Management, Candriam France and Allianz Global Investors.
The €9.8 billion French pension fund separately selected BNP Paribas Asset Management to manage a combined €400 million allocation to quantitative equity.
Under two mandates, BNP Paribas Asset Management will invest in equities of companies in countries that are members of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and equities in OECD companies excluding Europe.
