Tom Eggemeier will join private equity firm Permira as a partner on May 20, the firm said in a news release Monday.
The position is new. Mr. Eggemeir, who had been president of Genesys, a Permira fund portfolio company, will focus on investing in technology companies. He will be based in Menlo Park, Calif.
