New Hampshire Retirement commits $75 million to 2 private equity funds

New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, made two new private equity commitments totaling $75 million, spokesman Marty Karlon said in an email.

The $8.8 billion pension fund committed $50 million to Dover Street X, a secondary private equity fund of funds managed by HarbourVest Partners, and $25 million to Top Tier Venture Velocity Fund III, a secondary venture capital fund of funds managed by Top Tier Capital Partners.

NHRS previously committed $50 million to Dover Street IX in 2015 and $25 million to Top Tier Venture Velocity Fund II in 2017.

As of March 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to alternative assets was 17.5%.
