Arsenal Capital Partners completed fundraising for its middle-market buyout fund, Arsenal Capital Fund V, with $2.4 billion of committed capital, the firm announced in a news release.
Fund V will invest in specialty industrials and health-care companies valued at $100 million to $500 million.
The firm's previous fund, Arsenal Capital Fund IV, closed in 2016 with $1.3 billion in capital commitments.
Investors include the $227.8 billion California State Teachers' Retirement System, West Sacramento, Calif.; the $94 billion Minnesota State Board of Investment, St. Paul; and the Regents of the University of California, which oversees the Oakland-based university's $66.7 billion pension fund and $11.9 billion endowment.
