Ryan Myerberg was named head of absolute return-global fixed income at Amundi, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Myerberg replaces David Ric. Mr. Ric left in April 2018 and co-founded Resco Asset Management at the end of the year, the spokeswoman said. Mr. Ric is also a portfolio manager at Resco and is responsible for absolute-return global macro portfolio management.
In the interim, Laurent Crosnier, CIO for global fixed income, took on Mr. Ric's responsibilities at Amundi. Mr. Myerberg started Tuesday and is based in London.
Mr. Myerberg was a senior portfolio manager for global macro and global credit strategies at Janus Henderson Investors.
Amundi has €1.43 trillion ($1.62 trillion) in assets under management.
