Illinois State Universities Retirement System, Champaign, committed €75 million ($85 million) to Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VI, according to a news release.
The $19.1 billion pension fund previously committed $200 million to an undisclosed open-end core-plus real estate fund managed by Blackstone Group in early 2018.
As of Feb. 28, the system's actual allocation to real estate was 8.7%; the target is 10%.
