Sylvia Pozezanac was named U.K. CEO at Mercer, a spokesman said.
Ms. Pozezanac will replace Fiona Dunsire in the role, effective in May. Ms. Dunsire was named head of wealth for growth markets, the spokesman confirmed.
Ms. Pozezanac will partner with the U.K. leadership team to increase Mercer's business across its heath, wealth and career units. She will focus on getting the most from the Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group acquisition announced in September by Marsh & McLennan, the parent company of Mercer. She reports to David Anderson, president of Mercer's international business.
"(Ms. Pozezanac) is known in the industry as a client-focused creative thinker, change agent and solution provider," said Martine Ferland, president and CEO, in a news release. "Our U.K. business and clients will benefit from her experience across mature and emerging businesses, deep subject matter expertise and significant leadership expertise."
Ms. Pozezanac was senior managing director for client management at Prudential Financial. A Prudential spokesman said: "We have decided not to refill that position. Moving forward, those responsibilities will be absorbed by others on the Prudential client management team."
