Jon Morgan was named head of consultant relations, North America, at Insight Investment, a spokesman confirmed.
It is a newly created position. Based in New York, Mr. Morgan will report to Paul Hamilton, global head of consultant relationship management.
Mr. Morgan was previously director, global consultant relations at BlackRock. Spokeswoman Melissa Garville declined to comment.
Insight Investment has about $791 billion in assets under management.
